It seems they wanted to prioritize saving money because the budget on this game is incredibly small with very few characters compared to either of the previous games.
Exploration for secrets? again, gone(there are "secrets" but they're literally just barely off the main track and you can clearly see them without looking)I honestly dont really care that much about the game length, as long as the game is good and a worthy sequel, but it's NOT a worthy sequel. Directional sword play and decapitation? also gone.
